Thank You Chennai..! 

November 3rd has come and gone, we have had enthusiastic and overwhelming participation from Chennaiites all over. We are slowly uploading photos we received by mail, please visit the gallery to see new photos. If you have not uploaded your photos yet, not to worry please do so, on or before 13 Nov 2007.

Thank you to all our participants who took time off at 3:11 to click and contribute. Thanks to bloggers and friends from social networks (orkut, facebook, etc) who helped spread the message, to Hindu Metroplus, Deccan Chronicle and Indian Express for their contributions towards publicity.

But 03:11pm has passed but the phenomenon that is 0311 is far from over. We intend to share our initiative with Chennaiites, both participants and non-participants, all over….

Uploading the photo

(Please upload the photo by November 13th, 10 days from the campaign day)

1) Address your email to 311pm@email.smugmug.com
2) Type ‘chennai’ (without quotes and all small letters) into the subject line (Important: do not change it or add anything to it. Type only chennai)
3) Change the email format to ‘plain text’ from ‘rich text’ format (very important) and type the description (include your name and email/phone number and a 50 word (approx) write up about your photo) into the body of the email and send it. The photo will be placed in the email gallery.
4) Go to http://311pm.smugmug.com/gallery/3746961 after 5/10 minutes and check whether your photo has successfully been uploaded. If it has then good. Else try again or mail it to us at 0311pm@gmail.com
